Mervat is the lead aesthetician and owner of Skin Health Spa. She is a graduate of the Michigan College of Beauty and has worked in the industry since 2013. Along with her husband Issa, Mervat opened the doors of Skin Health Spa’s Maumee location in October ’21, and she is excited to see SHS continue to grow and expand. Mervat is a devoted wife and mother, and Skin Health Spa is her second family. She is passionate about helping her clients achieve and maintain healthy skin, which she is able to deliver through medical-grade skincare and customized treatment plans. Mervat is committed to ongoing education both for herself and the entire Skin Health Spa team, ensuring optimal results for her clients while maintaining a high level of standards and safety.

Haley has been a licensed aesthetician since 2016, and she has been with Skin Health Spa since 2022. She is a wife and a mother, and is passionate about helping people feel confident in their own skin. Haley is enthusiastic about learning anything new in the skin care industry, and believes in always being a student to new products and technology to improve overall skin health.
In addition to skin care, Haley offers relaxation massage, waxing services (SHS Brazilian expert), lash lift & tin, and brow lamination.

Meet Marwa Ouasli, a dedicated professional in the healthcare field. With a Bachelor's and Master's degree in nursing from the University of Toledo, Marwa is a Certified Nurse Practitioner with nine years of invaluable experience. Her journey seamlessly merges her passion for fashion and beauty with her expertise in healthcare, as she pursues her dream of becoming an Aesthetic NP. Alongside her supportive husband, also a skilled Nurse Practitioner, Marwa is a proud parent to two lovely girls. Her ultimate goal? To empower women through aesthetic enhancements, helping them achieve a refreshed and natural look, ensuring they feel confident and radiant in their own skin.

DR. RICHARD COOK, MD

Dr. Richard Cook, MD, is a seasoned Board-Certified Internal Medicine Physician with over 20 years of experience. As both the owner and practitioner of an Internal Medicine & Women’s Health Private Practice, he oversees all aspects of patient care and practice management. Dr. Cook's expertise extends to executive responsibilities, including payroll, human resources, and EMR management. He also serves in various consulting roles across the US and is licensed to practice in over 20 states. Committed to education, he mentors medical students, PA students, and nurse practitioners. Dr. Cook actively volunteers in community health initiatives, offering cancer screenings and diabetes workshops. His residency at Union Memorial Hospital/University of Maryland Program solidified his skills in cardiovascular care. Certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine, Dr. Cook maintains active medical licenses in numerous states, reflecting his ongoing dedication to excellence in healthcare delivery.

Dr. Brian Young is Skin Health Spa's Medical Director at our Lambertville, Michigan location. He has over 20 years of experience in the Medical Spa Industry and works closely with all the Staff at Skin Health Spa to ensure they are properly trained and all the safety protocols are in place. He’ll over see treatment plans and safeguard patient confidentiality.
Dr. Young DO is an Internal Medicine Specialist and has over 25 years of experience in the medical field. He received his medical training at the Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine in Kirksville, Missouri in 1996. He completed his internship and residency in internal medicine at Henry Ford Macomb Hospital-Warren Campus. Dr. Young is board certified in internal medicine.
